Originally built in 1970, One Boston Place has since been a prominent fixture on the Boston skyline with its distinctive diagonal structural bracing expressed on the façade.
One Boston Place is of fire-proofed steel frame construction with concrete on metal deck floor slabs and a masonry core. The building has 18 passenger elevators and one freight elevator, which were fully modernized in 2005.
The “Historic Crossings” sculpture was recently installed in the One Boston Place plaza.
